Awami Action Committee Gilgit Baltistan is the merger of 22 religious and political parties against the brutal system of the occupied Pakistani government. Recently under the pressure of IMF, Pakistani government removed the subsidies on wheat and other important sectors of life. On reaction to it more than 70,000 people came on roads and chanted slogans against the occupiers. They not only demanded for the restoration of wheat subsidy, rather they demanded for their constitutional rights too. The Awami Action Committee Gilgit-Baltistan created a huge pressure on the government which resulted in the change of the brutal decisions. The Chairman of Awami Action Committee Gilgit Baltistan Ehsan Ali (Advocate) said in a post-sit in press conference that this struggle will continue till the restoration of our constitutional rights.
